The Fucking Champs

Yes, at long last, I update with a new upload, and what an upload it is. The Fucking Champs are an amazing instrumental heavy metal band, with two rhythm guitars and a drummer, and that's it. Right down to the basics. There are a lot of nice, catchy, and crunchy riffs in every song, and there is never any wankery. Also, their (ex) guitarist used to play in the seminal US black metal band Weakling. I've included four of their albums here, so I had to break it up into two parts.

Lack Of Updates

My internet makes it hard for me to upload things, but I'll try to up something today. In the mean time, here is a video that amused me.

King Travolta - Kill Fuck Metal

King Travolta, not a name most of you are familiar with, but hopefully that will change soon. Despite their silly name and silly album cover, they are an *amazing* sludge band, and write some of the heaviest riffs I've ever heard. Not only that, but the band is made up of mostly guests, from bands like Abdullah, Alabama Thunderpussy, Bongzilla, Meatjack, Mugwart, and Ultralord. Any fan of sludge or stoner metal should do them selves a favor and check out this album. Remember, if you like the album, buy the damn thing!

Goblin - Suspiria

Goblin are an amazing prog rock band from the grand land of Italy, using a fantastic combination of synths and groovy bass lines. Not only is Suspiria my favorite soundtrack, but it's also my favorite prog rock album. Moody, atmospheric, and fun, a must have for any fan of progressive music. Remember, if you like the album, buy the damn thing!

O.L.D. - Lo Flux Tube

What do you get when you take the pounding beats of martial industrial, bizarre metal, and the scores of John Carpenter? Probably Lo Flux Tube, O.L.D.'s seminal work that put their joke grindcore past behind them and established them selves as serious musicians. This is not an easy album to sit through, but it's an incredibly rewarding one. John Zorn (Naked City, Painkiller) does a guest sax solo here as well. Remember, if you like the album, buy the damn thing!

Welcome

This will be my upload blog, where I may or may not update all the time. Hopefully someone will care enough to check it out.

My blog's name comes from surrealist films such as David Lynch's Eraserhead or Tetsuo The Iron Man. Also, I chose not to have the black blog like everyone else. Don't like it? Piss off.
